Animals are at the heart of what we do
Our love for animals is the reason Karmably exists. Every animal at a Karmably event is cared for and respected before, during, and after the session, and that care never bends for the sake of a booking.
We’re also open about how we source, check, and care for our animals, so you have everything you need to brief your team and satisfy your own governance.
How we source our animals
We work only with licensed, accredited suppliers who meet strict regulatory and ethical standards. To keep our suppliers and their animals safe, we keep supplier details private. For organisations booking with us, we’re happy to share accreditation and documentation on request.
Our supplier vetting process
Every supplier goes through a full vetting process before joining our network. Our checklist covers:
- Registration and licensing. All puppy breeders hold a valid Supply Number (Breeder Identification Number) on the Queensland Dog Breeder Register, as required under the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001.
- On-site welfare checks. We visit to assess living conditions, space, cleanliness, and overall wellbeing.
- Health and vaccination records. Every animal has current health checks and vaccination documentation.
- Temperament and socialisation. Animals are assessed for comfort in social and group settings before any event.
- Ongoing monitoring. We review our supplier partnerships regularly to keep standards high.
We partner only with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical, responsible care.
The animals at your event
Puppies
All puppies come from registered, licensed breeders who meet state and federal breeding regulations. Every puppy has the chance to be adopted into a loving forever home. Our breeders keep full responsibility for each puppy’s care, health, and rehoming, so your team enjoys the experience while the animals stay fully looked after.
Goats
Our goats are pets and rescues, loved and cared for by their owners across their full lives. We work with goats of all ages who feel at home in social settings and enjoy human company. They stay with their owners for life.
Welfare protocols on the day
Welfare continues right through every session. At your event, we follow clear protocols:
- Regular rest breaks for every animal throughout the session.
- Fresh water, shade, and comfort at every event, whatever your venue.
- Trained handlers who monitor animal welfare the whole time, so your team can relax and enjoy it.
- A calm-first approach. If an animal shows any sign of stress, they step out of the session straight away. Always.
- Right-sized groups. We match the number of animals to your event size and length so every animal stays comfortable.
Documentation for your records
Everything you need for due diligence. We welcome open conversations about animal welfare, and on request we’ll provide:
- Supplier accreditation and registration details
- Insurance certificates (Public Liability and Professional Indemnity)
- Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Workplace Health and Safety Policy
- Event-specific welfare protocols
